cebu coffee camp

Experience island coffee in the heart of Cebu island! Go on forest walks and Philippine tree familiarization in an orchard where there are coffee trees intercropped with fruit and forest trees that are indigenous to the Philippines. Here, we learn all about the factors affecting your coffee cup profile — from the environment where the tree is planted, to the processing methods, to roast levels and finally the way you brew the coffee or pull the espresso shots.

This camp is 2.5 hours away from Cebu City, with comfortable glamping tents and option for car camping. The bootcamp is happening right in time for the Coffee Expo Cebu at Ayala Center, where a van is available for those who choose the ride-sharing option. After two days and one night of learning about coffee, we go back to the Coffee Expo to meet other bootcamp finishers, as well as other industry players of the coffee industry, particularly those with markets in Cebu.
